While creating the T383838Makefile targets for gemini capsules creation I discovered that passing the T383838--standalone object when converting from T383838markdown to T383838markdown T383838pandoc includes the YAML header in the resulting output markdown.

This made for some very strange interpretation by T383838md2gemini that briefly inserted a page divider and bulleted list of tags at the top of each note.

I had to use T383838markdown_strict as the output on this system, but just T383838markdown worked on another.

An update here: T383838markdown_strict is also key in getting citations expanded into notes.

Another update: I use T3838387off now instead of T383838md2gemini.
