I keep meaning to make a note on this, not so much because anyone would want to read it, but to improve my chances of remembering. The weather this winter has been much more mild than last year. Instead of getting 3-6 feet of snow suddenly in January, there was six to twelve inches every few days, every week in December. It's been awesome. I've been shoveling more frequently, but able to keep up with the snow. So my arms, chest, back, stomach, and legs are all feeling great from the exertion every time I get to go do some shoveling.

There was one point where the temperature warmed and cooled quickly over a few days. It was less pleasant to shovel this because there were pockets of water under the snow. When I would hit these pockets I'd suddenly get a very heavy shovel-full of snow. I enjoy it more when the snow is consistently weighted and doesn't stick to the shovel. But I didn't let it slow me down.
