There has been a lot of news that keeps popping up, everything from unlawful use power to suppression of speech. The US president uses every manipulation tactic possible to force his agenda on the people. This abuse of power should concern people not just his political opponents but everyone world wide. If you look at history this pattern has been repeated time and time again but the majority of people don't recognize what is happening until its way to late. We live in a democracy that has checks and balances to prevent misuse and abuse of power, it was put into place to prevent anyone person from having total authority over the their country. The problem is this only works if everyone respects those laws and the checks of power. As soon as people of power no longer respect the laws or controls everyone that enforces them democracy can no longer exist. A leader that suppresses dissenting voices is not a leader they are a dictator and no dictator has their citizens best interests at heart they only know greed and more power no matter who they have to step on to get it.
