The very act of participating in society give up your control, your privacy and you identity. Any deviation of the defined social image will brand you an outcast but if you aren't built to fit the mold you exhaust yourself trying to fit in.

Growing up it was impressed upon me that I act a certain way, graduate school, get married and buy a house. I was also taught to socialize to be accepted and that every tech toy or platform must be consumed. None of this ever made me happy and I didn't see the point of being on social media. To make things worse you are suppose to go to work and spend a majority of your time climbing the corporate ladder. All of these lessons taught me nothing that made me happy it just hooked me into the lie, the control and the surveillance. All your data belongs to us, all the things you own just end up owning you. I spent my life masking who I am so that I was considered normal, I spent my life giving everything personal about me to the world.

I have learned many important lessons, I am not neurotypical. The reason I have felt exhausted my entire life was due to the huge amount effort I expended masking my divergent traits. I bought into the technologies, the social platforms and attempted to push myself to be someone that could climb the corporate ladder. Even after all of that work in the end I still lost relationships, jobs and friendships. The thing I gained was insight into why I felt so exhausted and unhappy with life. All of this work to fit in because I was told that is how it should be brought me to my knees and to the bring of collapse. Now I have started to pull away from everything I despise and get back to who I am. I have reduced my digital foot print and developed my self reliance. I am slowly over time reducing the ability to be tracked, gaining my privacy back and working towards full self reliance.

My goal in life for the future is to drop out of the grid, take back control and make it difficult to steal my privacy from me. I want to sever the control imposed by governments and corporations. If I need food I grow it or hunt for it, if I want entertainment I provide it. Communications will rely on my own infrastructure that can't be spied on, censored or shutdown. I can provide my own power, medical and shelter no matter what is thrown at me. Natural disasters, economic collapse or dictatorship my impact me but won't stop me.
