I have spent the last 20 years of my life buying into the whole game of waking up in the morning, going to a job I hated so that I had the money to buy the things I did't really need. Before I was married the first time, I loved life in nature and I didn't need much to make me happy. Over time I followed societies plan that you need to get married, have a big house, several cars and buy all of the products or you couldn't be happy. After a while I became restless and unhappy, I was constantly trying to get more money, better jobs to support my family's lust for things that never satisfied them. The happiest times in my life were camping and building but never buying, in the last year I hit a breaking point, my family and I were living check to check even though I had a pretty comfy job. I was increasingly unhappy with the things I own, owning me and every step I took in life being watch or monitored so that something else could be sold to me. It seemed every aspect of my life I was either being told who I should be, how I should act, what I should buy and what would make me happy.

Now I am struggling to break free of all of that, there really isn't an easy way to fully drop off the grid unless you want to go to full extremes and in my opinion you only need that if you are trying to hide from a government entity. I have no need to hide from the government but I do want be left the fuck alone. That is the reason for my new journey, to be left alone for once. I want the eyes to no longer see me or care to see me. I want to be myself for once which rarely aligns with what society expects of me. I am not looking to break laws and hid from the governments but I do want to be myself with out everyone watching.

My goal now is to pull away as much as possible, be able to feed myself without the need of companies and to live in peace for once.
