Runr - Colorado Mesh
Trail runs with mesh radios. Building and connecting with others on the Front Range of Colorado.
Driven by the Zen idea to own personal infrastructure where data only travels the minimum necessary distance but by any medium available.
Current Setup
MeshCore for Colorado Mesh community. Being present where local people are chatting. Not great for location tracking.
Meshtastic for family travel with the need for location tracking and chat. Works great camping, hiking, and at ski areas.
Reticulum home transport Pi with RNode AP for LXMF/RRC chat and NomadNet. Learning and following development until I can make it usable by the family.
Goal Long-term
Reticulum for family connection replacing current setup. Seamless use of chat on an iOS device with and without mobile internet. Bonus if more Colorado Mesh community connects as well.
