Radio Diagnostics & Multi-Node Monitoring

Managing LoRa mesh networks requires ongoing radio telemetry and link quality assessment.

Multi-Device Diagnostics with T383838gornode-diagnostics

T383838gornode-diagnostics profiles multiple connected RNodes and serial devices, reporting hardware revisions, firmware integrity, and RF performance:

Monitoring RF Metrics

When evaluating LoRa link reliability, monitor:

RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication):
• Strong: T383838-60 dBm to T383838-90 dBm
• Marginal: T383838-90 dBm to T383838-115 dBm
• Limit of sensitivity: T383838-115 dBm to T383838-128 dBm
SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio):
• Excellent: T383838> +5 dB
• Acceptable: T3838380 dB to T383838-10 dB
• Deep fade / edge: T383838-10 dB to T383838-20 dB (LoRa can decode below noise floor down to T383838-20 dB at SF12)

Reticulum Diagnostics

Use T383838gornstatus -a to monitor packet throughput, dropped frames, and interface error rates across all active physical interfaces.
