Since a week I was missing my cat.

He is half a year old and was the best addition to my life since a long time.

For the last week I was really worried because he always came back in the evening. I would just call his name and he would be back within ten minutes.

Last week he didn't come back, no matter how much we called.

We searched for him near the road, in the forest, printed signs with his image...

Today he came back by himself. Very hungry and stinky - but he came back.

Amazing how you can emotionally attach yourself to an animal after just a few months.

I am incredibly thankful for the encouragements I got in THE CHATROOM! (1) and THE CHATROOM! (2).

Initially, I thought maybe he would be run over by a car or killed by an animal (we have wild boars, foxes, racoons).

Now I believe he was driven away and kept out by our neighbor's cat, who is very aggressive and territorial towards ours.

To all those who are missing their cat: This is a success story.
