Went on a wild rabbit chase from learning about Meshtastic, to Meshcore, to Reticulum. Here I am, a few days later with a NomadNet site. I've been reflecting on decentralized systems and the

importance of community agency. Too long have we relegated our agency, intellectual energy, and our labor power to the few. We are fast becoming a rentier society, or in the words of Yannis Varoufakis,

a "techno-feudalist" society. This node is running on a vps, yet I could easily change that to a Pi or an old Dell in my basement, and you'd still reach me. There is power in that agency. There is power

in many rejecting what could've been used as a democratizing force for good, but is now used to extract profits in the forms of rents, ads, behaviorial metrics, and biometrics. Here I am free, fuck you Amazon.
