Hello! This is the Boise Autonomous Solidarity Hub, or BASH for short.

We started as a group of behind-the-scenes activists with stories to tell and art to share, completely unrelated to this account or this social media space. We're still mostly that.

The original intent of this project was to help people share their messages and that hasn't changed. The things that have changed, and justified an introduction, were the decisions to create a public element to the project and the social media connected to it. So here we are, hi!

We intend to publish our own original work and community contributions from outside of this project. This may include anonymous contributions, and even those we might not agree with or fully align with, as long as they appear to be truthful and support the people of Boise (with a primary focus being of the marginalized, underrepresented, and repressed).

While we could be understood to be partisans, it will never be our intent to deceive. Inaccuracies, errors, or lapses in judgment should be looked for and resolved with integrity. If we can't earn and maintain trust, then we don't deserve it.

Overall, it is our goal and intent to present messages of resilience, joy, and solidarity from Boise , Idaho, without getting lost in the weeds of any particular project.
