About Chicago Offline
The Project
Chicago Offline builds resilient, off-grid communication
infrastructure for Chicagoland. When cellular networks
fail, when the internet goes down, when the power grid
drops -- we keep people connected.
We operate LoRa mesh radios, MQTT observer networks,
Reticulum transport nodes, and open-source tools that
anyone can use, extend, and deploy.
Everything we build is open source. No accounts, no
signups, no surveillance, no gatekeepers.
