zzz Who This
Hi I'm nyx, im an independant software and devops engineer by trade. Over the last 6 months ive really fallen for Reticulum. Currently about 3/4 the way through a full read of the manual, my goals are to build a modular nixos/nixops stack for deployment to an interoperable LoRa based public mesh. Thanks to Drupol's work in getting the first rnsd and lxmf port into the NixOs packages deployment pipeline! <3 I do have some custom nixos modules i hope to get on rngit here, my current focus is building out a set of rpi sd card images for mass deployment.

zzz Current Network
1 disparate rNode's connected as Backbone interfaces
1 transport node running microReticulum
Multiple Lora connected devices

Send me a hello, I want to chat more on here!

zzz Status
QTH: Ohio River Valley
Lora Repeaters: 2
Freq 914.8750
Bandwidth: 125.000
Spreadingfactor: 7

I believe this is becoming the reticulum Lora standard for North America. If I am mistaken please send me a note!

UPDATE: 26/07/26
First 6 months down and i'm all in, Reticulum is the future!

UPDATE: 26/07/03
Thank you for all the messages, I have accumulated nearly 2 dozen new contacts since starting the node. After a few many weeks of building a few Ret NixOs modules for myself, this node is now stable again. My propagation node and network stack is up and running, but now I am having issues with syncing with the latest NomadNet upgrade. I believe this has been fixed with a release upgrade from Ubuntu 25 to 26. If you have tried to reach out and havent gotten a reply, try again! Thank you all for the support and warm welcome!
