So I discovered that the way the vibe-code agent (remember, I am not a programmer) had implemented identity management was sort of dumb. A little back and forth and some stern words directed at the stochastic engine and identity-resolution and storage should now be handled better across features.

I am, of course, talking about the NomadNet CMS Starter that I am working on, or you know, whatever you want to call it when I have the plagiarization machine doing the coding.

I am as conflicted about AI as the next fella - maybe more, actually - but I also like to eat and I can see the writing on the wall. It spells out that I need to learn how to use these tools, at least until it becomes apparent to everyone else that they're unsustainable.

Apart from the identities fix, I've been trying to implement some sort of more capable templating system for the project with support for actual conditionals and loops. I ended up with a version which worked fine in NomadNet but would not at all resolve in MeshChatX nor in the Columba-browser.

I decided to roll it back, but it is still an ambition to add better support for that sort of thing down the line. Right now the templating-part of the project is, let's say, understated. I am used to working with more capable systems when it comes to templating, and it would make it easier and more fun to create cool website. Will give it another pass down the line.

I am back at work after a nice long Easter-holiday, and I am feeling pretty good about it. Lots of people are still on holiday so we're not busy, but it's also a bit boring in the office.

Another development - I've joined a shooting club, and I am really looking forward to it every week. We shoot a variety of handguns - mainly cal. 22 pistols so far, but also 9mm and .357 revolvers. I used to shoot rifles as a kid, and I've also shot pro-grade airgun pistols as a teenager, and I find the whole process very meditative. When you get in the zone and you just work your body and your mind like a machine, trying to do everything in exactly the same manner every time - it's very satisfying.

Denmark isn't really a "gun nation" so it's not a very large club or a popular sport, but I am lucky enough that the club is only 5 minutes away from me.
