La Horde du Contrevent


The novel takes place in a world where a relentless wind blows continuously from one direction. Twenty-three members of the 34th Horde have been trained since childhood for a single mission: to travel against the wind from the Downstream (Aval) to the mythical Extreme Upstream (Extrême-Amont), where the source of all winds is believed to lie.
