Den døde mand


Hakon Brandt presents himself in 1930s Denmark as a true bohemian and artist – behind the Norwegian-sounding name, however, there is just a Dane named Hans Petersen, who is more of a scam artist than an artist. He is the center of Hans Scherfig's satirical novel "The Dead Man", which strikes a proper blow to a social order that the author considered absurd, ridiculous and perverse for otherwise healthy individuals.
