Rabindranath Tagore
Rabindranath Tagore (1861–1941) was a Bengali poet, novelist, playwright, composer, and philosopher. He was awarded the 1913 Nobel Prize in Literature, becoming the first non-European Nobel laureate in literature. His writings explore themes of spirituality, nature, love, education, nationalism, freedom, and the relationship between the individual and the divine.
