I turned on the radio, once more attempting to hear someone on the other side. I hear a noise that comes and goes, as if it were an insect. Yes, insect beings — though some seem human. I am convinced the insects are fighting to liberate the world, although they hadn’t reckoned with the opposition of the malign forces of electricity. The insects also face the opposition of the geeks.

The geeks create hyper-sterile technocratic structures (that is to say, computer programs) riddled with “bugs”, creating a confusion between what is wild, anti-establishment, and radical, and what is anti-septic, controlling, conservative, and repressive. The result is that brutality exists everywhere.

Is the noise I hear on my radio’s speaker a computer program glitch? Are there spies around?

I tune to 4625kHz and wait, once again, for the Buzzer to fall silent, and for a voice on the other side to announce itself and dispel this doubt that persists in me: what voices are these, in the end, and what messages do they wish to transmit?
