Being a radio operator, a telecommunications specialist, in a place where there is no one to communicate with, can bring its advantages. One of them is being able to hold fast to the reading of the small set of books I brought with me to Lagrange.
I read them several times as if it were the first. In fact, I have made a decision: every time I return to the beginning of a reading, I renumber the pages by hand, in pencil, following the pagination logic of the last page. That is, if the book ends on page 423, when I read it again, page 1 is renumbered as 424, and so on. In this way, mentally, I never let the book be finished.
I wish I could do the same with Frank Ocean’s albums.
