I am a cyber security engineer who moved away from a large city four years ago to some remote property in the mountains. I still work remotely and my wife and I are working on building a homestead and an offgrid cabin. We have been living in a large tent while working and building our home.

I briefly tried out Reticulum a few years ago but at that time, decided that XMPP provided the communication tool that was the most appealing at that time.

My current, renewed interest in Reticulum is based on its ability to connect even without any ties to the existing Internet grid. I have yet to successfully test LORA RNodes but am looking forward to getting those interfaces working.

This node is currently running on a small hosted VPS. I am also experimenting with running Reticulum on Android and Linux. I would like to be able to run Reticulum on a Live Linux distro.

I have always searched for answers. Not readily available answers but the more hidden... the truth. I have found this search, in many cases, has required me to change who I am so that I could more clearly see the patch to find these answers. The world tries to shape us and how we think so we will more readily accept the information it provides. Unfortunately, this information when applied just doesn't work which is why I have searched for alternatives...
