ScotMesh RNS Network
ScotMesh chat hub
From the ScotMesh wiki

The ScotMesh chat hub runs ScotMesh's chat room: one conversation that people reach from an RRC chat client, as an LXMF group, or on a Nomad Network page, with everyone seeing the same messages under the same names. How to join is on The chat room.

What it is

One program that connects to the backbone over TCP, with no Reticulum daemon of its own, and serves three ways into the same room:

The RRC room #scotmesh, for MeshChatX, NomadNet, rrc-tui and WeeChat.
The LXMF group, for Sideband, Columba, MeshChatX and NomadNet. Messages arrive as Name: message.
The chat page, read in NomadNet or MeshChatX, where you can post once you identify.

Each Reticulum identity holds one name everywhere, and lookalikes of a name that is taken are refused. When you come back you catch up on what you missed. LXMF delivery can be turned off or left automatic. Operators can moderate, and what they do is logged. Messages are kept for 7 days. The propagation node holds group messages for members who are away.

It replaced the earlier RRC hub and LXMF bridge.

Status

Live, version 1.0.0-rc.4 as of 13 September 2026, running on ScotMesh's own server.
