I began my vintage stereo hobby around 2022/2023.

I have always really enjoyed my music, as most people do.

For me it is also about the nostalgia and memories it brings.

Growing up in the 1970's & 1980's era, my memories

revolve around the music and even the machines that play it.

My first real enjoyable memory was my high school Chevy Truck

project in 1977.

I added: Pioneer KP-500 Car Stereo and ADS L200 Speakers

Not realizing at the time how amazing this setup was.

At that time, there was not an ability to stream music aside

from the "Radio or Tapes". Back then we had:

Vinyl Records

Cassette Tapes/8 Track Tapes

Music CD's

Music CD's are less fussy than vinyl records or cassettes, they sound

amazing, and they are also easy to find and add to your

collection. Even in 2026.

I put much of my music onto a USB Thumb drive,

plugged into my vehicle, or on my phone as music files. All my

music is with me to enjoy no matter an Internet connection or not.
