RNodes finally came in the mail today!! but I got some good news n some bad news. the good news: they work. I can connect from my laptop to the Pi hosting this site. the bad news: connecting to literally any other site does not work.

found out the hard way that NomadNet doesn't let you "identify when connecting" on your own page, so I migrated this site to my Raspberry Pi rather than my laptop. also, I'll be getting some RNodes in the mail this coming Tuesday!!

just found out about the existence of Nomadnet. genuinely why did no one on YouTube hyping up Reticulum tell me about ts. whole time I thought all I could do was text people who have funny usernames on the announce stream via Sideband, it was all Sideband this this n that so upon finding out about Nomadnet I lowkirkenuinely lost my marbles. during my Sideband days I vibecoded a chatbot that would let me talk to a Ollama instance, access my files, and update my blog. feel awful stupid about that now. anyway idk how often I'll be updating ts but here I am loooool
