IceNet is a multi-system network built around an Unraid server running Reticulum and MeshChat. The core system, IceNet-Server, provides a TCP bridge to the internet and acts as the main hub for connected devices. It also enables communication with external Reticulum networks, including routing through rns.michmesh.net.
One of the connected systems is IceNet-Radio. This node uses a TCP client connection to IceNet-Server over the local network and provides a LoRa RNode interface for communication with nearby LoRa devices. In addition, it runs a tar1090 instance for local aircraft tracking and situational awareness.
Future plans include integrating direct access to both the tar1090 interface and the LoRa node through the broader IceNet network. At the moment, these features are still in early development and experimentation.
