If you’re anything like me and enjoy tinkering with technology, then this project is for you.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed building my own little corner of the Reticulum network, and what started as a simple project quickly turned into a much deeper rabbit hole. Along the way, I found myself wanting an easy way to access NomadNet from my phone.

Unfortunately, after joining the Apple ecosystem, I couldn’t find a simple, native way to interact with NomadNet on iOS. So, I decided to build one myself.

Introducing IceNomad!!

While still in its early stages, IceNomad is actively being developed with the goal of becoming a fully native iOS application for the Reticulum ecosystem. The vision is to provide support for TCP client connections, RNodes, built-in LXMF messaging, and most importantly, a fully functional NomadNet browser.

A crazy idea? Maybe. But that’s the fun of tinkering.

I’ll be posting major updates, development milestones, and progress here as IceNomad continues to grow.

So the interface is working well,

TCPclients connections working,

Able to see Announcments and created a contact system and filtering for unamed clients

Begain messaging system layout.

Upcoming is actually geting on the reticulum system and getting an Identity. More to come soon
